à Arthritis About 50 million people in the United States suffer from some form of arthritis. For more than 20 million of these people, the symptoms are severe enough to cause them to seek medical attention. Arthritis is not a single disease. The name arthritis means an inflammation of one or more joints. Arthritis is an inflammation of the joints usually caused by wear and tear; injury, or infection. Some are genetic. Its causes and consequences are many and varied. The inflammation is often accompanied by pain, swelling, redness and motion limitation. X-rays may show horrifying damage to the joints of people who feel no pain at all, or they may show relatively little damage in people who feel great pain. There are more than 100 types of arthritis. There's osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gouty arthritis, psoratic arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis, systemic infectious arthritis, arthritis associated with a venereal disease and many others. The most common types of arthritis are osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and gout. Osteoarthritis, also known as degenerative arthritis or wear-and-tear-arthritis, refers to the pain and inflammation that can result from the systematic loss of bone tissue in the joints. It is the most common form of arthritis especially in the elderly. Rheumatoid Arthritis, also known as rheumatism or synovitis, tends to affect people over 40. Women get this two to three times as frequently as men. It is characterized by inflammation and pain in the hands, especially the knuckles and second joints, as well as in the arms, legs and feet, and by the general fatigue and sleeplessness. Organs such as the eyes and lungs may become inflamed as well. Gout usually occurs in men over 40 and is caused by the elevated blood levels of uric acid, which forms crystals in the joints. The immune system reacts to these crystals as if to a foreign invader. The joint, as a result, becomes inflamed and painful.
What is the Definition of Rheumatoid Arthritis?
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disease, primarily involving the peripheral joints (finger joints, wrists, toes and knees) and surrounding muscles, tendons, ligaments and blood vessels. This disease is among the autoimmune disorders (an abnormal immune response to oneself which leads to a sequence of tissue reactions and damage that may produce diffuse, systemic signs and symptoms). Description of Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) can be one of the most disabling types of arthritis. It occurs worldwide, affecting more than 6.5 million people in the U.S. alone. The disease strikes women three times more often than men. Although it can occur at any age, the peak onset period is between the ages of 35 and 50. The disease may come on slowly or appear suddenly. RA usually requires lifelong treatment and sometimes, surgery. In most people with RA, the disease follows an intermittent course with a variety of symptoms, from just a few symptoms to severe and painful deformities that may be disabling. Much more is known about the pathophysiology of RA than its causes. If unarrested, joint inflammation occurs in four stages: 1. First stage, synovitis (inflammation of the synovial membrane) develops from congestion and edema of the synovial membrane (membrane lining the capsule of a joint) and the joint capsule. 2. Formation of pannus (thickened layers of granulation tissue) marks the onset of the second stage. Pannus covers and invades cartilage and eventually destroys the joint capsule and bone. 3. Progression to the third stage is characterized by fibrous ankylosis - fibrous invasion of the pannus and scar formation that occludes the joint space. Bone atrophy and misalignment causes visible deformities and disrupts the articulation of opposing bones, causing muscle atrophy and imbalance and possibly, partial dislocations or subluxations. 4. In the fourth stage, fibrous tissue calcifies, resulting in bony ankylosis and total immobility. Causes of Rheumatoid Arthritis
What causes RA is unknown, but various theories point to infections, genetics and endocrine factors. This disease is not contagious. A genetically susceptible person may develop abnormal or altered antibodies when exposed to a virus or antigen (a substance which induces the formation of antibodies). The body doesn't recognize these altered antibodies as "self," and the person forms an antibody (known as a rheumatoid factor) against them. This rheumatoid factor then generates inflammation of the joint lining. Symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis
The onset may be insidious with nonspecific symptoms, including fatigue, malaise, anorexia, persistent low-grade fever, weight loss, and vague articular symptoms; or it may have an abrupt onset with simultaneous inflammation in multiple joints. The symptoms usually occur bilaterally and symmetrically, and may extend to the wrists, elbows, knees and ankles. The person may have stiff joints after inactivity, especially on rising in the morning. The person may also complain that joints are tender and painful, at first only when he/she moves them, but eventually even at rest. Ultimately, joint function is diminished. Other complaints include stiff, weak or painful muscles. If the patient has peripheral neuropathy, he/she may report numbness or tingling in the feet or weakness or loss of sensation in the fingers. Inspection of the person's joints may show deformities and contractures, especially if active disease continues. The fingers may appear spindle-shaped from marked edema and congestion in the joints. The joints may even be hot to the touch. Treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis
Treatment requires a multidisciplinary health care team to reduce the patient's pain and inflammation, preserve functional capacity, resolve pathologic processes and bring about improvement. The most effective treatment program for arthritis consists of drug therapy, exercise and rest. Many different drugs are now used to treat rheumatoid arthritis. Aspirin and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen (Motrin and others), naproxen (Naprosyn and others) and most recently, dicolfenac (Voltaren), have immediate analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. As many as 75 percent of all RA patients improve somewhat with conservative treatment during the first year of disease. Salicylates (particularly aspirin) are the mainstay of therapy, because they decrease inflammation, relieve joint pain and are relatively safe. Aspirin in high doses is as effective as any other NSAID and much less expensive. However, as effective as it is, some people develop a gastrointestinal toxicity, tinnitus (ringing sound in the ear), and rarely, hepatitis or renal damage. It also may interfere with platelet function, causing bleeding problems. If stomach irritation is a problem, enteric-coated aspirin is safer, but may not be fully absorbed. Nonacetylated salicylates, such as sodium salicylate, salsalate (Disalcid and others) and choline magnesium salicylate (Trillisate and others), do not interfere with platelet function and may be safer than acetylated salicylates for aspirin-sensitive patients. There are several situations when use of a nonsalicylate NSAID concurrently with aspirin is appropriate. Some patients get relief from aspirin yet develop tinnitus at blood levels inadequate for full anti-inflammatory activity. Corticosteroids (Prednisone and others), are the most dramatically effective short-term anti-inflammatory drugs. RA, however, is usually active for years, therefore this drug should be reserved for "bridge" therapy between the time when the decision is made to start a disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD: such as gold) and when the drug becomes effective. Because of their side effects, corticosteroids should be given only after careful evaluation and conclusion that the benefits far outweigh the costs. Intra-articular injections of corticosteroid may temporarily help to control local synovitis in one or two particularly painful joints. A major decision for the physician treating RA is when to begin therapy with second line or slow-acting disease modifying drugs (DMARDs). Hydroxychloroquine or sulfasalazine are the best drugs to begin with, since they have the least toxicity. One study claims that over a two-year period, patients treated with sulfasalazine had less progression of erosions than patients treated otherwise. The patient must not have false expectations about rapid responses, for as much as six months may be needed before a response to gold salts is manifested. Gold compounds usually are given, in addition to salicylates or other NSAIDs if they do not provide sufficient relief or suppression of active joint inflammation. In some patients, gold may produce clinical remission and decrease the formation of new bony erosions. Improvement often can be sustained for several years with prolonged maintenance administration. Gold is given either as an injectable or oral drug (auranofin). Before receiving gold, the patient should have several lab tests and should be repeated while continuing this drug therapy. There are risks of toxic reactions with gold salts, along with side effects. Penicillamine given orally may have beneficial effects similar to that of gold. Because of its varied and unpredictable toxicity, D-penicillamine should probably be used after a trial, if gold has failed. Cytotoxic or immunosuppressive drugs, such as methotrexate (MTX) and azathioprine are increasingly used in management of severe, active RA. Some rheumatologists use MTX early, after gold has failed and before D-penicillamine. Others use it instead of gold in patients with proteinuria or thrombocytopenia. The true place in therapy of MTX is uncertain and is the subject of many studies. These drugs can suppress inflammation and may allow reduction of corticosteroid doses. The onset of action of the drug appears to occur within three to four weeks after beginning therapy. The most common side effect is gastrointestinal distress, with stomatitis, nausea and pain leading the list. There are other major side effects which can occur with these drugs and the patient should be fully informed of these potential side effects. Supportive measures include increased sleep (eight to 10 hours every night) frequent rest periods between daily activities and splinting to rest inflamed joints (although, with corticosteroid therapy, immobilization can cause osteoporosis). Occasionally, complete bedrest is indicated for a short period during the most active painful stage of severe disease. Moderate daily exercise, such as swimming, walking or physical therapy, is critical to maintaining mobility. To lessen pain while increasing movement, moist heat (hot soaks, paraffin baths and whirlpools) often help patients with chronic disease. Some severe cases of rheumatoid arthritis may require surgery to remove inflamed synovial tissue. Useful surgical procedures include metatarsal head and distal ulnar resectional arthroplasty, and insertion of a Silastic prosthesis between the metacarpophalangeal and proximal interphalangeal joints. Arthrodesis (joint fusion) may bring about stability and relieve pain, but only at the price of decreased joint mobility. Synovectomy (removal of destructive, proliferating synovium, usually in the wrists, fingers, and knees) may halt or delay the course of the disease. Osteotomy (the cutting of bone or excision of a wedge of bone) can realign joint surfaces and redistribute stresses. Given that no specific cause of RA is likely to be identified soon, and that even the best current therapies cannot stop the proliferative and destructive component of the disease, there are both opportunities and need for better therapy. There are several experimental treatments and therapies being studied presently. Most remain investigational with no conclusive results. What is the Definition of Gout?
Gout, also called crystal-induced arthritis, is an arthritic condition that occurs when uric acid crystals accumulate in the joints. Gout usually affects the large joint of the big toe, but can also affect other joints, such as the knee, ankle, foot, hand, wrist and elbow. In rare cases, it may later affect the shoulders, hips or spine. Gout does not spread from joint to joint. Description of Gout
Uric acid is a substance that normally forms when the body breaks down waste products (called purines). Uric acid is usually dissolved in the blood and passes through the kidneys into the urine. For people with gout, the uric acid level in the blood is so high that uric acid crystals form and deposit in joints and other tissues. This causes the joint lining to become inflamed, resulting in sudden and severe attacks of pain, tenderness, redness and warmth. After several years, the crystals can build up in the joints and surrounding tissues, forming large deposits, called tophi. Tophi look like lumps under the skin and are often found in or near severely affected joints, on or near the elbow, over the fingers and toes, and in the outer edge of the ear. Another condition, called pseudogout, is caused by deposits of calcium-based (instead of urate-based) crystals in the joints. Causes of Gout
In about 90 percent of all cases, gout is prevalent in men older than 40 and in menopausal women. An "episode" often occurs overnight, and within 12 to 24 hours, there is severe pain and swelling in the affected joint. The episode usually lasts about five to 10 days. Although the exact cause is unknown, gout may be caused by: • genetic defect in metabolism, which causes overproduction and retention of uric acid • kidney impairment that prevents normal elimination of uric acid • thiazide diuretic medications (water pills) used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure • diseases of the blood cells and blood-forming organs, certain cancers and psoriasis • environmental factors, such as obesity, alcohol abuse and a purine-rich diet. An episode of gout can be triggered by: • drinking too much alcohol • eating too much of the wrong foods • surgery • sudden, severe illness • crash diets • injury to a joint • chemotherapy. Symptoms of Gout
Gout generally occurs in four (4) stages (asymptomatic, acute, intercritical and chronic) and has the following signs and symptoms: Asymptomatic stage - urate levels rise in the blood, but produces no symptoms Acute stage - symptoms usually lasting five to 10 days • sudden attack of joint pain • swelling • joints feel hot, tender and look dusty red or bruised Intercritical stage - symptom-free intervals between gout episodes. Most people have a second attack from six months to two years, while others are symptom-free for five to 10 years. Chronic stage • persistently painful joints with large urate deposits in the cartilage, membranes between the bones, tendons and soft tissues • skin over the deposits develop sores and release a white pus • joint stiffness • limited motion of affect joint Diagnosis of Gout
The diagnosis of gout is based on symptoms, blood tests showing high levels of uric acid, and the finding of urate crystals in joint fluid. In chronic gout, x-rays show damage to the cartilage and bones.
Treatment for Gout
Currently, there is no cure for gout, but through proper diet, a healthy lifestyle and medications, the symptoms of gout can be relieved and further episodes eliminated. Proper diet • Avoid or restrict foods high in purine (a substance that produces uric acid when broken down). These foods include: sardines, anchovies, brains, liver, kidneys, tripe, sweetbreads, tongue, shellfish (mussels and oysters), fish roe, scallops, peas, lentils, beans and an excessive amount of red meat. • Drink 10 to 12 eight-ounce glasses of non-alcoholic fluids daily. Healthy lifestyle • Reduce alcohol consumption • Lose weight Medications Using medications for gout can be complicated, because the treatment needs to be tailored for each person and may need to be changed from time to time. To relieve the pain and swelling of an acute attack, the doctor may prescribe nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), colchicine, corticosteroid drugs, and/or adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH). To prevent future attacks, the doctor may recommend colchicine, probenecid (Benemid, Parbenem or Probalan), sulfinpyrazone (Anturane), or allopurinol (Lopurin, Zurinol or Zyloprim). To prevent or treat tophi, probenecid, sulfinpyrazone and allopurinol are recommended. All of these drugs are powerful, so the patient needs to understand why they are taking them, what side effects may occur and what to do if they have problems with the medication. Prevention of Gout
To lower risk factors, consider: • supervised weight-loss program with exercise (if the patient is overweight) • avoiding a purine-rich diet • avoiding alcohol consumption, especially binge drinking • changing to another drug, if taking diuretics for hypertension
Osteoarthritis
Definition: Osteoarthritis is a chronic disease causing deterioration of the joint cartilage (the softer parts of bones, which cushion their connections to each other) and the formation of new bone (bone spurs) at the margins of the joints.
Alternative Names: Hypertrophic osteoarthritis; Osteoarthrosis; Degenerative joint disease; DJD; OA; Arthritis - osteoarthritis Causes, incidence, and risk factors: For most people, the cause of osteoarthritis is unknown, but metabolic, genetic, chemical, and mechanical factors play a role in its development. It is associated with the aging process and is the most common form of arthritis. It may first appear without symptoms between 30 and 40 years of age and is present in almost everyone by the age of 70. Symptoms generally appear in middle age. Before the age of 55 it occurs equally in both sexes. However, after 55 it is more common in women.
The cartilage of the affected joint is roughened and becomes worn down. As the disease progresses, the cartilage becomes completely worn down and the bone rubs on bone. Bony spurs usually develop around the joint.
Systemic symptoms, sometimes associated with other arthritic conditions, are not associated with osteoarthritis. The joints of the hands and fingers, hips, knees, big toe, and cervical and lumbar spine are commonly affected. The degeneration of the joint may begin as a result of trauma to the joint, occupational overuse, obesity, or mal-alignment of the joints (for example being bow-legged or knock-kneed).
Food/Diet Therapy Proper diet and nutrition are key elements in the prevention of all types of disease, including arthritis. An important first step in treating arthritis lies in achieving normal body weight. Excess weight puts increased stress on weight-bearing joints affected with arthritis. Eat a diet that is high in fiber and that is not tainted with chemicals, which stress the body. Maximize your intake of fresh vegetables, fruits, fish, nuts, seeds, and whole grains. Make sure your menu includes cold-water fish such as salmon and halibut. Avoid saturated fats, hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils, rich fattv foods, fried foods, and refined sugar. These substances make the internal environment more acidic. Acid in the joints promotes inflammation, which worsens symptoms and increases pain. Fatty meats, eggs, margarine, shortening, caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, sugars and dairy products should be dramatically cut down or eliminated from the diet. About one-third of those who suffer from rheumatoid arthritis are sensitive to solanines, or nightshade plants, which include potatoes, peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, and tobacco. These should be eliminated from the diet. Drink at least six to eight glasses of pure water daily. This will help to flush out toxins from your body. Foods to eat Green vegetables, such as watercress, parsley, celery, kale, and okra Seaweeds Carrots Spirulina Barley and wheat grass products (anti-inflammatory and detoxifying) Avocados Pecans Potassium broth Soy products Whole grains, such as brown rice, millet, oats, wheat, and barley Cold-water fish such as salmon, sardines, or herring Foods to Avoid Studies have shown that all arthritis symptoms are reduced, even for those with rheumatoid arthritis, after a person adopts a vegetarian diet, free of all animal foods, including-and especially-dairy products. Calcium Inhibitors Reduce or eliminate red meat, dairy, eggs, and chicken Alcohol Coffee Refined sugar and too many sweets Excess salt Foods High In Oxalic Acid
Rhubarb Cranberries Plums Chard Spinach The Nightshade Family of Foods
Tomatoes Eggplant Potatoes Peppers Tobacco Foods that will Create Wind and Dampness
Buckwheat Dairy foods All animal fat Nuts, oil-rich seeds, and nut butters
Rheumatoid Arthritis Diet Therapy Diet has been strongly implicated in many forms of arthritis. Food can cause arthritis; it can also help in the cure. Several special "arthritis diets" exist. Many of these special diets originated from the observation that RA is not found in societies that eat a more 'primitive' diet. It is predominantly found in societies consuming the so-called western diet. You can manage RA by eating a healthy diet rich in whole foods, vegetables and fiber and low in sugar, meat, refined carbohydrate and saturated fat. This diet is helpful both in the prevention as well as in the treatment of RA. Food also influences RA because of the connection between RA and food allergy. Food allergy Elimination of allergic foods has been shown to offer significant benefit to some individuals with rheumatoid arthritis. Eliminate all foods you suspect may be the cause of the RA. Then gradually introduce them 1 at a time. This way you can determine which food you are allergic to. Once determined, do not eat those foods that you are allergic to. Virtually any food can result in aggravating RA, but the most common offending foods are wheat, corn, milk and other dairy products, beef and nightshade family foods (tomato, potato, eggplants, peppers and tobacco). Dietary fats Fatty acids are important in inflammation mechanism through their ability to form prostaglandins, thromboxanes and leukotrienes. Manipulation of dietary oil intake can significantly increase or decrease inflammation, depending on the type of oil being increased. Avoid foods that contribute arachidonic acid. Arachidonic acid is a fatty acid that is derived almost entirely from animal sources (meat, dairy products, etc.) It is converted to to inflammatory prostaglandins and leukotrienes that contribute significantly to the inflammation. Consume coldwater fish such as mackerel, herring, sardines and salmon. These fish are rich sources of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) which competes with arachidonic acid for prostaglandin and leukotriene production. The net effect of consumption of these fish is a significantly reduced inflammatory/allergic response. Several clinical studies have attested to the beneficial effect of EPA. Studies have also shown that cod liver oil also has beneficial effects when in comes to inflammation and RA. Cod liver oil is an inexpensive way of providing the body with its required EPA. Fasting Patients with RA have benefited from fasting. Fasting decreases the absorption of allergenic food components. It may also have an effect on the immune system.
Osteoarthritis Diet Therapy 1. Remove all inflammatory causes from your diet. Dairy products, wheat, and nightshade plants, including potatoes, peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, and tobacco, are most often responsible for these food allergies. Eliminate all the suspect foods from your diet for at least one month. If this is helping with your arthritis, gradually reintroduce them (one new food every three to four days). This way you can determine which specific food is contributing to your arthritis. 2. Remove or decrease consumption of all animal products other than fish. If possible eat a raw food vegetarian diet (vegetarian plus elimination of all animal products, especially dairy). 3. Periodic supervised fasting is also very effective for osteoarthritis. For more than 50 years, fasting clinics throughout Europe have successfully employed periodic juice fasting for managing arthritis. Fasting enhances the eliminative and cleansing capacity of the lungs, skin, liver, and kidneys. It also rests and restores the digestive system and helps to relax the nervous system and mind. 4. Besides green vegetables, your diet should include: carrots, avocado, sea weeds, spirulina, barley and wheat grass products, sprouts, pecans, soy products, whole grains (such as brown rice, millet, oats, wheat, and barley), seeds (sesame, flax, and pumpkin), and cold-water fish (such as salmon, sardines, herring, and tuna). 5. Avoid the following foods: alcohol, coffee, sugar, saturated fat, hydrogenated fat (margarine), excess salt, spinach, cranberries, plums, buckwheat, nuts. 6. Weight reduction, through diet and exercise, is also recommended in treating arthritis. Gout Diet Therapy Dietary changes that may be helpful: There is a clear relationship between diet and gout. Foods that are high in a compound called purine raise uric acid levels in the body. Restricting purine intake can help control uric acid levels and in turn, the risk of an attack in individuals susceptible to gout. Foods high in purine are generally protein-rich foods, such as sweetbreads, anchovies, mackerel, sardines, chicken, dried beans and peas, liver and other organ meats, herring, scallops, red meat, and turkey. Limit the consumption of alcohol, particularly beer, refined sugars, including sucrose and fructose. They raise uric acid levels. Individuals with gout should not consume nutritional yeast or brewer's yeast, as they can raise uric acid levels. Cherries: According to a 1950 study of twelve individuals with gout, eating one-half pound of cherries or the equivalent amount of cherry juice prevented attacks of gout. Black, sweet yellow, and red sour cherries were all effective. Since that study, there have been many anecdotal reports of cherry juice as an effective treatment of the pain and inflammation of gout. Strawberries, blueberries and other red-blue berries are also believed to be beneficial. Individuals who are overweight or have high blood pressure are at greater risk of developing gout. However, lose weight gradually and not rapidly because restriction of calories is known to increase uric acid levels temporarily. Foods to Eat Adzuki congee (a traditional breakfast food) Cook brown rice and water in a covered pot four to six hours on a very low flame or warm burner. Use lots of water to make the grain soupy and easy to digest. The dish strengthens the blood and qi, harmonizes digestion, cools, and is highly nourishing. Other vegetables, such as carrots, onions, shiitake mushrooms, or broccoli; or another grain, such as barley, can be added to the broth. This congee is very healing for the liver, joints, spleen, and digestion. Vegetable and fruit juices: especially non-citrus juice, vegetable juice, celery and parsley juice, red cherry juice, and carrot juice Purified water (dissolves toxins) Celery Celery renews joints, bones, arteries, all connective tissue; clears digestive fermentation, which causes dampness and acidic blood, according to Chinese medicine. Tomato After digestion, tomato alkalizes the blood and is good for treating acid blood condition of gout. Seaweed Cherries, strawberries, blueberries and other red-blue berries Lots of vegetables, especially kale, cabbage, parsley, and other green, leafy vegetables Bananas Foods to Avoid Rich foods Greasy, oily foods Red meat and meat extracts such as bouillon and gravies Organ meats such as liver, kidney Coffee, sugar and white-flour products Refined sugar and other concentrated sweeteners Alcohol Sweetbreads Refined carbohydrates Yeast products Spices Shell fish, poultry, preserved fish such as sardines, herring and anchovies Dried beans and peas Gout Exercise Exercise is essential to improve circulation and help elimination of uric acid. Aerobic exercise daily: Especially helpful is walking, bicycling, and jogging. Yoga or stretching exercise Tai chi chuan

how do you tell a girl how much you love jher?
How to Tell Someone You Love Him or her
By Warren Kramer, Editor of Daily Wisdom, Creative Direct July 12, 2002
a question came from the feedback form on one of the Web sites in which I am involved. "How do you tell a girl how much you love her?" I don't often answer such questions personally, there are people more qualified than I to handle them, but before I knew it, I had written a long answer.
Looking back over my response, I realized it could have broader implications, so I decided to share it with you... How do you tell a girl how much you love her? You don't. You show her. You be her friend. You be there for her when she needs someone to talk to.
You cry with her when she is sad, and you are happy for her when she succeeds at something, even if - no, make that ESPECIALLY if - she does that thing better than you do. And you do all you can to see that she succeeds at thing s often. You give her what she needs, when she needs it, emotionally I mean, not "things." And if you do really love her, not just think she is hot, or are infatuated with her; you will do all this expecting nothing in return. And I mean NOTHING. If you expect anything from her, you do not love her; you just want to be loved by her. Everyone wants to be loved, but to be loved, you must love. If you do these things well, one day she will come to you and confide in you about something she feels badly about, because, if you do these things well enough for long enough, it will be you she will want to confide in. When she does, you make sure she knows that it matters to you that this bothers her. If you have advice for her, save it until you are sure she knows you care, and that her feelings matter very much to you. Once you are sure of this, you may offer your advice, but know that the caring is more important than your idea of how the problem might be "fixed." Loving her is not admiring the way she looks or anything else about her. These may be among the reasons you are attracted to her, but they are not acts of loving.
Loving her is a series of actions, things you do for her, for no other reason than you love her.
Loving her does not want her to give you attention, or to give you anything for that matter. Loving her wants to give, not get. That is how you love someone. You give to them all you can give and expect nothing back. Once you have done these things well enough for long enough, and her eyes tell you she longs to hear you tell her, then you will have earned the right to tell her how much you love her.
"There are some people who meet that somebody that they can never stop loving, no matter how hard they try. I wouldn't expect you to understand that, or even believe it, but trust me, there are some love that don't go away . And maybe that makes them crazy, but we should all be lucky to end up with that somebody who has a little of that insanity. Somebody who never lets go. Somebody who cherishes you forver."

I Promise Jacy Velasquez
Lyrics:
Lord You know my heart and all my desires and the secret things I'd never tell Lord You know them well Though I may be young I see and understand that at times like sheep we go astray and things get out of hand So I promise to be true to you To live my life in purity as unto You Waiting for the day when I hear You say "Here is the one I have created just for you" Until then Oh Lord, I will be content knowing that true love will come some day It'll only come from You cause I have seen the suffering that loneliness can cause When we choose to give our love away without a righteous God So I promise to be true to You to live my life in purity as unto You waiting for the day when I hear You say "Here is the one I have created just for You"

Ill Never Get Over You (Getting Over Me) by Expose
Album : Submitted by : Melissa Bellman Corrected by :
I hear you're taking the town again Having a good time. With all your good time friends. I don't think that you think of me. You're on your own now. And I'm alone and free. I know that I should get on with my life. But a life lived with out you could never be right.
As long as the stars shine down from the heavens. Long as the rivers run to the sea. I'll never get over you gettin' over me.
I try to smile so the hurt won't show. Tell everybody That I was glad to see you go. But the tears just won't go away (won't go away) Lonliness found me. Looks like it's here to stay. I know that I ought to find someone new. But all I find is myself always thinkin' of you.
As long as the stars shine down from the heavens. Long as the rivers run to the sea. I'll never get over you gettin' over me.
oh... No matter what I do. Each night's a lifetime to live through. I can't go on like this. (I need your touch) You're the only one I ever loved... oh.
And as long as the stars shine down from the heavens. Long as the rivers run to the sea. I'll never get over you gettin' over me. I'll never get over you gettin over. Never get over you... gettin over. I'll never get over you gettin' over me.
